Minimising electro magnetic interference (EMI) is an important design criteria that needs to be addressed during the development of any new electronic device, especially if the device is going to be housed in a plastic enclosure. We have been utilising conductive coatings successfully as a method of EMI shielding for over 25 years and these same methods are common throughout the electronic industry. We offer a wide range of shielding coatings, almost transparent polymers and fine line silver grid for applications where the highest levels of shielding are required.
Transparent electrodes are essential components for many display modules. With the evolution of display technologies, conducting polymers are recently emerging as an important alternative materials for the fabrication of transparent electrodes. Conducting polymers offer some advantages such as light weight, low cost, mechanical flexibility and excellent compatibility with plastic substrates for the development of next-generation display technologies and, in particular, are expected to play an important role in the development of flexible display technologies.
